DaveS, Thanks for your interest in the Lamiglas XRA 1204-2 10'....This rod was designed for live eeling and lures.The rods optimum use is with 1 to 2 1/2 oz lures. The XSRA 1204-2 took first place at the 1997 American Sportfishing Association Trade Show, in the surf rod category. We are also offering the Lamiglas XCRA 1204-2 10' in conventional this year.
