Rubber coated canvas. I fixed them with 3m Scientific Anglers Ultra Flex adhesive. It worked okay. The hole was just a slit the diameter of a dime. The only thing I don't like is it's not an actual patch job. It's just a 2 part adhesive that gets smeared over it. Sorta like epoxy but it's flexible. I can see it's coming up a little so next time, I'm going to snip a little piece of the old pool liner and use that as a patch. Otherwise, this stuff worked allright.
