Someone brought this up on another board and I used to think it was the funniest thing.
Charlie would carry a bag of popcorn with him on the boat, when he got to a spot and there was more than one or two boats on fish he'd move off a bit and throw a few handfuls of popcorn out on the water. The gulls would go bezerk and all the boats would move over there thinking there was a big blitz there. Then he'd move back over to the original spot and bail stripers
The first time I seen that I almost broke a gonad laughing.
