I fish whenever I get the chance but will make an extra effort to fish it what seem like ideal conditions. I use a log and memory of past trips to try to determine which areas might be productive based on the conditions on any given night. Generally I’m looking first at wind direction, then surf conditions and finally tide. Surf conditions are big for me for #1 safety and #2 where am I going to find white water.
