Glad to hear you are ok,what an inconvenience to get into a vehicle accident not to mention total it,but worst of all being 5+ hrs. from home.
I hit a good sized deer on the X press way just under the Furnace Brook Pkwy I was driving a 1985 F-150 good size truck anyway I hit it broad side on the drivers smashed my windshield bent the pillar my over sized side view mirror ripped it open and then my rear bumper caught the rest of it and completely gutted it.
I lucked out that was it.
