It's stuff like this that caused this conversation between me and my roommate's girlfriend.
Her: Well, I can understand why some people didn't vote for him, considering he's Muslim and all.
Me: No he's not.
Her: No really, he is.
This was yesterday. Even on election day, 1 out of 10 registered voters still thought Obama was a Muslim - and 23% of Texans.
I wonder what his winning margin would have been if it weren't for all the misinformation (read: outright lies) and smear. Maybe instead of a 2:1 victory, it would have been a 3:1 or 4:1 landslide?

No line on assassination yet - I don't think they can do that.
But I've said right along that I thought he would be. After the election when Obama spoke at Grant Park, I found his references to the "Mountaintop" speech MLK gave on the eve of his assassination to be a bad omen.
