NIB, OTW called me for pics of us because you are such a lousy photographer. While you can call yourself a peer in the fishing dept, you have a long way to go when it comes to pictures.
How is the fishing down your way? If I come down I will bring goodies from P I T S.

Too late, my wife hung it over the bed for inspiration.
ZENO, do you just point and click or do you actually have a clue when it comes to manual settings like f stop and iso?

The key to great pictures is composition.......it can be taught but if you have a natural ability for it, as Zeno does, your pictures will be standout! With digital photography these days it makes it alot easier to take a bad pic and instantly crop it and adjust the lighting!
Hmmmm....naked pictures huh? Curious about that fishing trip??

Depends on situation
If i shoot a shot like this ,where I carry a tripod on a moss covered rocks and try to get a certain "look" ,for example ,freezing the water with a long shutter speed, then I'll play with a camera. I almost never change iso thou. Shutter and aperture is all I usually find necessary although i do wish my camera has an bracket exposure so i can shot three shots in different light at once.

having said that ,I truly enjoy taking pictures of guys in the water under low light conditions. You get some fascinating array of colors. I also try to get my camera inches from the water so the shots are level with a rushing water. As you can imagine ,this is a disaster in waiting as I had a wave twice soaked me and a camera. When you have a split second to get down between the waves and shot before the next wave, its needles to say that you cannot be adjusting a camera for shutter/aperture at same time. I can go out of the water and shot in peace but I much prefer to be either in line with those fishing or in front of them. Who wants to take pictures of butts?
Full frontal is much better
