I keep my boat at a slip and I do flush the motor out, i'm lucky to have fresh water right there. I don't flush it each and everytime I use it but I try to when I can. I do know when I dropped the boat off for winter service I was told that the motor looked great, and everything was clean....I would suggest if you can flush, do it.....
