What a great song this is. One of my faves. Cory's vocals are fantastic, and Will Calhoun's drum work (particularly on the high hat and snare) are phenomenal!
I saw Fishbone and LC at the living room in Providence back in 89. One of the best shows I've ever seen! "Truth and Soul" and "Vivid" changed my life.
I was there too, pretty sure. I can honeslty say that those bands/albums changed my life too. I got into jazz because of LC and never looked back. They used to play A Love Supreme by Coletrane before their first set. Did you ever hear/see a band called Smoked Shoulder?
That was my band and we played around Prov 1992-1994 or so. We were compared to Fishbone and LC as those were my biggest influences.
Also, you guys arent keeping me honest, cant forget these guys, had fun at there shows too
