I will be at msba, somerset nj, and rissa.
The rubber in the vid is a 13" chartruse, just rigged on a 11/0 bally hook. No lead inserts weights or custom rigging. The new beast hooks are going to be the ticket, 10/0 3X strong and the biggest gap worm hook on the market with a twist and lock. It fits the rubber perfect and I will have a few of those at the show too. I'm scared offshore of the size of the fish that will grab one of the 13" rubbers. The few people that have seen the 13" and the first response is you are going to need bigger hooks. I know last year we had a tuna that had to go over 400/500# come up and look at the rubber that was one a TLD 50 and all I could think is WTF. It looked like a submarine that had a back at least 3ft wide and the water just creased off it back, and threw a wake as big as a boat. I had dreams of that moment for 3 weeks.
