Thanks for the kind words! The hook is a VMC 4X. Don't think its stainless, not sure how quickly it will rust....

Slipknot, I played hockey up until last month when I had shoulder surgery. Played left wing in highschool and college. Played five years in a men league as a left winger. Hopefully it will heal enough to play again. I just hope I can fish this spring with it! The wood is poplar, from the local home center. I am looking for suggestions on what type of wood is best for the different plug types.
