Has anyone joined their club? it sounds kinda catchy with all the free gear you can receive over time?

I did once about 15 years ago, after the free bag I never saw any free gear.

I became a lifetime member some years ago. Now they want me to join a "select" group only offered to life members for a couple hundred bucks with the promise of testing gear that I get to keep.
Sounds like the same story I got years ago. Never was sent anything to test let alone to keep. They can K.M.A  |

I always got their BS and always threw it in the basket...then I started getting bills..then 2nd & 3rd notices...then a call from a collection company. Believe me ....they never called me again! They are worse than B.A.S.S. and that's saying something...at least B.A.S.S. gave up trying to bill me for the video I never asked for after the 2nd try!

I belonged for a few years but got a little annoyed and ended my subscription after I started receiving books that I didn't ask for that they assumed you were going to pay for or send back on your own dime. That guy Steve Pennaz (sp?) is on Versus sometimes and has a pretty cool segment about new fishing knots. I never goy anything really cool for free.
