OK...Here's the deal...I got a bunch of heat from another site because I offered to get wood for the guys that build...As some of you know a friend of mine is the owner/operator of a saw mill here in RI. His main product is SHINGLES...made from all different types of CEDAR. He also supplies Liberty Cedar and other Southern NE lumber yards with cedar products. He does this as a favor to me and guys that I send to him...sometimes it takes a bit of time to get wood that is plug builder friendly, but he will eventually cut what I ask for. AWC is what I usually ask for, but recently he took in a shipment of what is called "mill cut" AYC...That's 2" X 2" (true size). He will cut to 4 foot lengths and no less than 8inch lengths or multiples of 8 inches. If you have special sizes, contact me via EMAIL only...I'll give my email to you in a PM, and then his conract number. I DO "PROFIT" FROM THIS...I get "free" wood that can't be sold due to imperfections...I trimmed and cut yesterday for 2 hours to get 20 8 inch pieces. If you think that that's "profiting", then please edit or delete this message.
I will not respond to requests from the "other site" due to the flak that I caught for doing this. Some of you may have picked up some wood at the Carver meeting...I want to keep it simple. I do not deliver or ship. Most of the guys pick it up at my house and we usually BS for quite some time...great fun
However if you want it shipped the mill will ship to you at minimal costs...just PM me and I'll give you the info.
