THe Newport Yachting Center on America's Cup Ave in Newport just announced additions to their summer concert series - went there to see Robert Cray last summer and it was
excellent, it's a great smaller venue under a tent right downtown.
The line-up is:
Los Lobos - Friday, June 26
Susan Tedeschi - Sat. June 27
Michael McDonald - Friday, July 24
Robert Cray - Sat. July 25

I was a big Doobies fan so I'd like to see Michael McDonald, but I definitely will be going to see Susan Tedeschi - love her stuff and haven't seen her live yet - really hope Derek Trucks will be with her but it looks like he's got a tour going on at the same time...
