I don't know what spot Mr. Moosh was referring to, I have received my latest copies but haven't thumbed through them yet...
In my opinion,,,and for obvious reasons, any public beach/state park or any general public access area...is wide open to discussion, print, post, seminar //etc//etc
I'm referring to a spot for example...that's on a Dead End street....a spot that may or may not require a parking permit, a spot that has very minimal parking. Even if you can park legally, residents can still find ways to take your access away. When the wrong people hear about spots like this, it's the beginning of the end. Sooner or later there's a keg party or a campfire...without trash barrels, where does the trash go?? What about the remains from the campfire?? ...1 out of every 5 take their trash with them?? Do they really? It's easy to proclaim that on here...but at 3am, when it's dark and there's nobody around,,, do you really chase down that Power Bar wrapper that the wind just blew away in the dead of the night??..I've seen SO MANY spots taken away....it is VERY very depressing. That's why these discussions
sometimes set me off....I still consider myself a youngen, but I've been fishing for a LONG time...and when I think back to places I used to be able to fish with my dad but can no longer access, again it's very depressing.
...and for you guys who primarily BOAT fish, your words mean nothing to me as you have gained 95% of those spots back,,,..so quit telling us landlubbers to go find another spot, OK?
