$25 and no discounts at the (2008) Plugfest
Yes, I'm still smarting over the price I paid; but at least I'm making the plug pay itself back. As opposed to all my dismal plug building efforts which pay back even worse than my stocks.
Fish: 44" 30lb. 4oz. (NOT including the half pound scup it coughed up when I beached it). Photographed and released night of May 11th.
Plug: BF2.3 Prey with the back hook cut off.
Bonds to all who love the gene pool enough to release these girls.

Sauerkraut.......awesome fish! Thanks for sharing the pics! I see that plug has been paying dividends? I think maybe I should have discounted that "Prey" swimmer by 10% and forgot to......so to make it up to you if you pm me your address and tell me what color you want I will send you another to kind of defray the exorbitant price you paid for that plug! Congrats on the great catch!

Nice job, both of you.
Did you come straight from surgery to land that thing?

I had to go back and do a double take. 1st to take another look at the sweet fish and 2nd to see if that really was a swimming cap! That's a first in fishing attire for me! I love it and surgical gloves to match! No flies on you! Awesome job on the plug too. I am so stoked to get out!

Thank You, Mr. BIGFISH. I could use all the help I can get, because NUMBSKULL has cut me off from access to his arsenal.

That seals it - you and George have to come out to Block with me. I don't care what you dress in or how loud your neck ties are.

Mr. Flap is right: he turfed me one of his big, classic colored, redhead home built surfsters last year which caught me a couple of substantial fish.
I started on the beaches in Jersey, and I think Jersey fisherman always had a thing about those Creek Chub Surfsters in that era. I know I did. It may be just my whim, but I always have my eye out for these. So, when I met Mr. BF's Prey Plug at the '08 Plugfest, I probably would have paid double for it.
