I liked it. Saw it at the drive in. First time at a drive in in over 15 years. It was fun.
This first movie is a big success so there will be many new star trek movies with the new cast now.

My butt is still vibrating from the seats at the IMAX, just got back from viewing what will be the first in a long line of new Trek movies with this cast. As Spock is known to say, "live long and prosper".

I've been to that drive in when I was in my twenties and went with my girlfriend. Couldn't tell you what was playing. 
Now I'm mid 50's and I went with my sister so I can almost repeat the main characters lines. Unlike if you went to a theater , the drive in still shows a warm up movie before the feature. We had to suffer through a really boring cartoon movie called Monsters vs Aliens. Bees with Sienfeld as the bee voice was much better. |
