Nautil 6500GV
I had the Nautil 6500GV brand new. I got it for kayak fishing because it was waterproof or at least sealed up pretty good. I used the reel 2x and liked how it felt and its weight. The second time out though I had a problem with the gears inside stripping and slipping. I could feel it and hear it.
When I got home and contacted the folks at Pure Fishing they told me that they would send me a Nautil Yellow 6500 in exchange for my 6500gv. Maybe that particular model had some problems in some units and they feel that the Yellow Nautil was a better model. Great customer service and I feel a great reel. Looking forward to receiving my yellow this week.
