My house is over 100 years old and updated in the mid 90's with the exception of the basement which is ancient and nasty. I just keep some things in there that are seasonal things and on the dry side I have a little work bench for when I used too tune my ski's. Now my wife keeps her shiat there. If and when we go too sell the house I will probably pay to have the basement done right. I've been picking away each year at something to increase value. Thnaks for your input though!
