Sundown in Iraq is about noon our time. I'm predicting the "really big scheeeuw" starts around 2 PM. A few Big Ugly Fat F*****s left an RAF base fully loaded with ordnance about 7:30 our time. I don't think it was a training exercise
Yesterday there was all this talk of so-called "back door negotiations" between the Allied commanders and the leaders of certain units of the Republican Guards. What I think happened was, the Iraqis were given 24 hours to crap or get off the pot, and from what I'm hearing only 20% of those units took us up on the offer. Maybe they asked for unrealstic terms, not realizing they were holding garbage or a pair of deuces against a guy holding a royal flush.
