The biggest obstacle to legalization are the alchohol , tobacco and entertainment industry lobbyists. They do not want to share the "sin money" with pot. The alchohol people lobby big wherever legalization is proposed.

Most dangerous drug in the world is a bottle of tequila yet we can buy it in every package store. Guy smokes a joint , he eats everything in site then sleeps in front of the TV. Guy drinks a bottle of tequila, he gets fired up like superman driving around and going nuts for 2 to 3 hours. Which is worse??

Tequila is made from the mescal cactus and it has psychotropic properties that makes it the most dangerous alcohol on the planet in my opinion.

I have seen people do things while intoxicated on it that was clearly delusional and beyond insanity.

LIke you just mentioned it's available every where ....

Some people get "super-strength" on tequila - they can flip cars, pick up refrigerators, etc.

a case in Point....
my own brother JIM was crazy on tequila one night....ok

he picked up a 150 - 200 lb anvil upstairs in the barn loft

this is the type that's HUGE with the pointed end on one side
for serious metal work....

and he threw it down on the floor of the loft and crashed it right thru the floor

.... a feat of strength which essentially led to his divorce.
