great news thanks for the posts. john I will be fishing whatever it takes to catch them. Being away from the coast I have a limited selection of plugs a few yo zoris in varing colors the old stand by bucktails and of course some topwater gear. I would love to catch a few on top water plugs any suggestions? There is nothing better than watching the water explode and bringing a nice bass to shore. I will be fishing from shore and boat I have an uncle that owns a home by the maritime acadamy and slips a boat at the marina a short walk away. so what are the current limitations on the herring? what are the legal ways to take them? Is there such a thing as beating the crowds on the canal? I am planning on living on very little sleep for the week so I am game for anything. Are the blues still on Cotuit?
