if you're going to look into s-glass, look into the super seeker composites. i haven't played with the surf blanks too much, but the inshore and offshore models are pretty industructible. the lami s-glass blanks are ssb, there isn't a msb. the 2f is a nice blank on the open beach, but i'd stick with a 3m for a jetty.
