wetsuit care question
What steps are recommended for proper storage. I have rinsed mine twice in a tub of clean fresh water and hung till dry . Should I just hang it or put it in a box or bag?

Either hang it up (out of sunlight) on a sturdy thick hanger, or roll it.
Avoid folding if you can, as it can result in permanent creases.
Also, don't wrap it up in an airtight bag. It might seem dry, but any residual moisture can turn into mildew if it can't breathe a little.

wet suit care
As an ex-Navy diver & I mean very old! Wash your wet suit in the washing machine using a very mild liquid soap on gental. At Walmarts you can buy plastic hangers, get the extra thick one. As said before, hang it out of the sun, I put mine in the basement. Allow for air movement around the suit, do not cover suit with cloth or plastic bags! In the spring wash again to remove dust.

Bob, ...I put a fair amount of hot water with some mild detergent in my deep utility sink, then section by section I squeeze the shiznits out of it while it's submerged hoping that the old shtinky shtuff gets forced out,...and the new soapy stuff takes it's place, I start off by turning it inside out, then back again...after doing that for awhile, I strategically place some dive belt weights on the suit so that it is completely submerged and leave it over night. The next day I hose it all down...give it a good squeeze and hang to dry. Then as stated above, it stays hanging. If you leave it folded, those creases will ultimately lead to problems.
I leave it inside out for a few days to try to get that as dry as possible, then I return it to normal...and there she stays.
If you're a urinator, place more emphasis on those areas when cleaning....

No, they wear wetsuits because it eliminates a fear that they had throughout their childhood.

And if you are a "defecator" don't forget to buy more eel hooks as well.
