Try the Grizzly air brushes! For $11 for the whole kit I bought 4 and they work great. You must be careful not to adjust the spray head to tight or you can split it. I like these better than my Badger! You get the air brush, 2 extra bottles and an air hose with fitting!, can't beat it.------LOUIE

For a starter just be sure you buy a double action unit. As a beginner the Badger line is just fine. Watch AC Moore's ad and cut out the discount coupon. If you are patient you can get one at their any item at 50% off and get a decent airbrush for short money. When you become an expert you can go for the high price lines.

I started with the badger 155 . It was fine for a while but I realy like to make mackerel and other striped plugs and I couldnt get any consistancy. Sometimes the lines would come out nice, spin plug around and the other side would be a big black blob.

I bought a new Iwata BCs and it is much nicer. I still use the badger for putting down base coats.

Pretty sure most of my problems were operator error.

Good Luck,
Scott
