Since I'm a good sport at striper fishing and don't want to create stress I use #50lb test main line and #40lb floroucarbon and haul them to the boat and put them in the cooler. My buddy likes to use #20lb test and play the fish for an hour and then release them. He says he believes in conservation. Can you imagine the stress.
