Obama did use a teleprompter for prepared remarks to a pool of reporters at a school. Obama did not us a teleprompter for a meeting with 6th grade students at the same school. The point of an interview is to inquire as to what you think. If you need help remembering the basics "energy, budget and tax" then perhaps you're not thinking of a whole hell of a lot.
