The reel is great, Ive been out practicing with it this winter and this month on the new rod, the retrieve is crazy fast but you can still slow crawl a danny or surfster.
found it easier to go slower with the 275 than faster with the 250, does that make sense?

Yeah, the 275 is sweet. I got one last year also used for real cheap but am going to put that on my pluggin rod and get a saltiga gt for jigging.. The gt is about the fastest reel you can get at over 50" per turn.. For all around beach fishing, the VS 200 would be my choice on a 9-10 ft. rod.
