Thanks Tobias. I am particularly interested in the newer and lighter autoclaved models. Is the one you mentioned autoclaved? Being a MIT materials guy and having 35 years experience , I am sure the autoclaving will produce the best properties. In the past , they only autoclaved the heavier rods. Supposedly some of these lighter models are also being autoclaved now. Know anything about that?

Autoclaved... ADJ: Meaning was in an autoclave...

An autoclave is a device used for the last many a year in hospitals and doctors offices as a form of sterilazation. For the instruments not the paitent. Usually its around 350 degree steam at 15 psi for 45 mins kills bacteria. Tattoo shops also by law have to have an autoclave for steralization. So essentially your new century blank is beyond clean, its sterile lol...

Hey Mike, the 12' model is autoclaved. Not sure on the rest though.
