Pump pellet gun will kill the fox. If the first shot doesn't the second will after you place the barrel against the foxes head.

As far as the trap goes, don't worry about a skunk. What you have to do is have a barrel of water ready which is deep enough so the entire trap fits in it. If you trap a skunk use a long pole such as a painters entension pole and drag a blue plastic tarp over the trap. The same hole you made for the painters pole to stick through is the same hole your going to use to pick up the trap with the pole. You can pick it up then at a distance and drop it in the barrel with the trap over it. The skunk even if it sprays inside the tarp onto the ground the smell will go away in a couple of days. And you can always throw the blue plastic away. It takes about ten minutes. I could always tell you about what the farmer I know does with the hedgehogs he catches. It involves a wood box attached to an exhaust pipe. Goodbye.
