nice work,
congrats on a new pb, and that recipe sounds excellent.
i also keep it simple,,,,,,,kosher salt, cracked blk pepper.
hot pan, olive oil~~~~ 3citrus or lemon meunierre & fresh cilantro or ital. parsley, respectively,
in the same pan to be able to "taste the ocean",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Too simple Dawg! Striper deserve to be cooked better!! You gotta try my recipe...its around here somewhere!

thanks for the complements guys! it was a awesome feeling, i have been into bigger fish this year more then ever. the fish came on a whole live lined mac dragged on the bottom while drifting...

Nice man! I too had my personal best this morning. 43 inches 33 lbs caught out on the rocks on the North Fork of L.I. on my new favorite fish catching machine a Bob Hahn metal lip. I also got a couple of low to mid twenties. What a morning.
The sideways peace sign is for Bill Wetzels June Tournament, I am not affiliated with any gangs.

the down side is i gotta get one bigger then 40 " now....that might take some time.....some day haha!

guess my 20 yrs of cooking professionally have taught
me nuttin'. for me and my palette, i prefer to still be able to "taste the Atlantic".
to each his own~~~ and i would be interested to see your version of cooking Striper, BFLarry.
