I hate trailering a boat anywhere... had my bearings blow out twice with different boats... one on I -95 in norwalk... 30 minutes after buying a used boat... having you bearings blow on the highway is very tricky... howthe hell do you get it somewhere to get fixed???? nerve racking... surf fishing is so much less stressful to me due to the stresses and potential disaters that go with boating... whoever thinks boating is a relaxing pastime never actually owned one... its only relaxing to your clueless passengers who dont have to think of the 1000 things going through your mind every time you launch. Glad things worked out ok!
