Just watched "The Shootist" again last night. Great film - the theme of an aging gunfighter coming to grips with cancer.

Great supporting cast also - Jimmy Stewart, Lauren Bacall, Ron Howard (that's right - Richie Cunningham, or for us older folks - Opie), Richard Boone, Harry Morgan (Col. Sherman Potter!) and John Carradine as an undertaker (perfect).

John Bernard Books: "I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them."

"Time and tides wait for no man", ... and neither do the fish.
