relax, its brutal heat, we have passionate people, I actually think its been way to mellow out here. I miss #^^^^^^&, I miss long rants from people, I miss fish pics.
I look at this site as a bar room out with friends, we bust balls, we fight, we argue, and in the end sometimes I learn someting. Some bonds are made , some are broken.

Luds you fool.
You got this thing all f'ed up. I gotta scroll all over the place to read and post this to this thread.
As I was sittin on the can last nite, I came to the same exact conclusion, that there has been so little stuff on here worth readin it disappoints me. I have tried to do the same in our Team S-B striper cup forum to get people involved.
It does feel like the middle of the winter with shack nasties goin on. And I have wondered as well why there are so many people registered for this site, yet it is always the same people that post. Startin to seem Clicky. Some new blood is needed. I remember I lurked on here for a while before I became active, and was even "afraid" to post as I didn't want to be considered an "idiot" The only dumb question is one that is not asked. That's fine, most people are fortunate that they have other things and interests in their lives unlike me that they don't become more involved.
There are forum websites out there for everything, from computers, to guns, to video games, to antique collecting and even other fishing web site forums. The difference with this one is that it is more of a local feel so you are actually within meetin distance of folks.
I do look forward to readin peoples' sucesses and failures on here. Love hearin some of the crazy stories, and do miss the true talk about fishin. Too much bitchin. I actually post little on here as I don't come on here to get in bitch fests with strangers. I read people's posts and take em with a grain of salt.
Not sure what I am truly tryin to say without givin away all my secrets [ike soakin the inside of my eel bucket with eel potion[/COLOR] but I enjoy this site a lot and love catchin.
Great post Luds. Hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings.
Bring Back #^^^^^^& and FISH WEEWEE
....now get out and put one on the board.............and bring that slacker Clogston with you............

This thread is set up for you Larry!
I think Luds set this up just so you would have enough space to post a picture of your future personal best......so you can't go anywhere until you have posted a picture of a supa cow.

This must be what the "dog-days" of summer feel like when you aren't out fishing.
I can't wait to get out anywhere on or near the water.

bloocrab, I also kep the occasional fish, I just really enjoy the taste. Most of the fish I catch (and therefore most of the fish I keep) are barely keepers. I think the impact on fish stocks of keeping vs releasing trophies, is an interesting topic. I'm no expert, and I don't immediately sling mud at those with whom I disagree.
You do seem to take that approach, so I called you on it. For someone who really enjoys to dish it out putrid insults, you seem extremely thin-skinned about receiving some respectful criticism.
Sounds like you seem to think that catching a 60 is the mark of a man? I guess I fall short. My best was 59 poundas, on a 12 pound spinning rig in 4 feet of water. So if that fish was 8 ounces bigger, that makes me a better fisherman? If that fish was 8 ounces bigger, that gives my opinions more credibility?
And no, you can't come fishing with me, I suspect we wouldn't get along...call it a hunch.

this site is definitely harder to crack than the other.
I joined this one around the sametime as the other one.
This one seems real clicky,
the original poster reached out to me when i went to cutty for the first time with some guys on this site.
Luds was awesome, gave me tons of info on what to bring and what not to bring.
Ask Gilly(my cousin) i was freaking out a few days before the trip, thinking all the guys i was going over there with were gonna think i was a moron,
Gilly assured me to be myself and all would go well.
Nightfighter(Ross) made me feel very welcomed once i got on the ferry, and the Bombas, Ben, Zeno, Eddie, Tburg, dad fisherman were great.
As a matter of fact all the guys on that trip were super, couldn't of been nicer.
Definitely would do it again in a second.
I was/am like Redlite was, i'm timid to post on here, don't want anyone thinking i'm a retard, so i don't post much on here.
i'll check in from time to time, but that's it.
i will say without question, that every single event i've gone too from here has been top notch.
It's tuff to gauge a post on here, it's better in person, face to face.
I don't blame people not responding to certain questions.
It's the internet after all.
I've met a lot of guys on here that i consider friends, some of them really good freinds.
I have yet to meet anyone from here that hasn't been super. And i highly doubt i ever will.
