Not a big clam guy, but the Chieftan in Plainville is at the top of my list when I decide to dig in...not exactly a seafood place, but the steamers rock.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Chris, I haven't been in the Red Wing to eat since I was young. I pass it a lot and there are always a bunch of cars there. Is it still good?

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

Thanks everybody all good places...
DeadlyRichard thanks
Jim's Dock in Jerusalem, RI(duh) it's BYOB and CASH only! it is a hidden gem. Just down the road from Matunuk Oyster, but a world away. Surrounded by boats, great view, laid back, old school. I think they run a charter boat or two also... so you can show up fresh from fishing and not get dirty looks. If anything, it might help!
hidden gem, laid back, old school... just one I'm looking for. will try it tomorrow.
My youngest and I are going to drive up and go out on the Gail Frances for the day definitely going to hit this place on the way back..
Larsen's in Menemsha holds a place in my heart. Ice cold cherrystones
