The bite was on again today if you were in the right place at the right time. RR and I (separate boats) had fun for about 90 min in the action. We boated 3 keepers in the mix of constant action.

Looked like they were feeding on baby macs 4-5" by the regurgitated fish.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

A baby mac was snagged on a popper last night, like 6" long.

I'm STILL in search of my first blue this year.

I had luck Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off the top-water action, all bass. Most just short, but a few legals, as well as my best fly bass to date, 37+".

I'm glad this thread got some replies. This board has been void of legit reports for a while. Hey, there are tons of fish out in this area right now...I have no problem sharing the "love." Even when it get's a little crowded. Part of the fun is hearing people on nearby boats screaming and yelling. Everyone loves a good blitz now and then.

I just hope it sticks around...I'm all out of vaca time so will have to wait for the weekends. With this much bait around things are looking great for a stellar fall run. The fish are really big right now...just think what they will be a month from now...share the Love!

I couldn't tell what the bait fish were, I was just casting a top water plug, but my fish finder was lighting up and beeping like crazy. I've heard there was peanut bunker and others saying butter fish.

Fish off the Race when there are 300 boats out there and at least a couple of boats with people fly fishing right in the thick of it... then you'll see how much fun a crowd of nitwits can be.

Our only mac of the day was caught on a deadly #^&#^&#^&#^&! Tinker size.
