I saw a demo on you tube on bats. The sucker was taking approx 3/8" per side cut w/ minimal effort on the wheel. The hard part I'm finding is locating a good lathe for cheap bucks. A Jet 42' is close but I would like a reversible motor and a quick changing speed lathe. I also looked into a 16" swing Grizzely. Reversible and variable.
