This guys having a great year, posting pics of fish with rocks in the background and you have some sense of the area he fishes and he is getting grief for it? There are many, many pics from some of the respected anglers out here of fish in the canal and NO ONE gives them any grief. Year and after year. Give it a rest.

Yours statements condradict themselves. You start by saying what a nightmare it was that you posted a pic because people wanted info and to follow you. Then you say that it's unfair that he's getting some grief for it. He's just getting grief because people don't want to see him have the experience you had.
Surf spots and the canal are two different things and for the most part the "respected anglers" pics show up weeks after the fish hit the scale or are released.
I hope the dude nails a 50. Just think he might want to worry a little about what info he is sharing. If my fishing partner was posting this stuff we wouldn't be on speaking terms right now.
