Please don't put on your Carhart suit and walk into the woods and leave your rabbit fur hat at home too. Even if you have a blaze orange cap and vest on...... Try not to wear anything white also, someone may think its a tail a blaze you down.
Scent, how are you getting into the woods? Walking? So your spreading scent as you go to you tree stand location. If you are playing the wind, your screwed.... If you are using deer scents to cover your scent and you smell like Tide and Downy the deer is going to know somethings up.... and never come in to investigate the scent.
As a heads up if you hear a CRACK, then a boom, dive to the ground and feel thankful that they missed.
