Hiya, John -

Yeah, I'm still alive and well, given the economy and all

It was a quiet winter and I hit the site regular-like to keep up on all the antics as a sorta invisible member - if you're registered you ain't one of those lurker types, right?

Anyway, the missus and I are finally finishing up a bunch of projects, even finished the revamping of our website and got it uploaded late last nite (and we're still married), so I missed the SWE shindig - and a chance to have the Iron One autograph a copy of OTW.

In other words, as of today the dust was flying in my tackle den so I'm ready and then some.

Hey, don't forget, we still gotta take a long walk to that spot with some eels when you get over this way again.

With some frosties at a real nearby local spot afterwards

I'll PM ya -

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
