I had the same problem yesterday, MacoJoe. You can use a plier and cut it and yank the line down.
Anyway, I got a question for the spiderwire. When I cast it yesterday and it stops at like 50 feet. It doesn't go smoothly as I expected. What I mean is that it doesn't spool many linefrom my spinning reel. I used braided line on my south bend mr. big fish combo set. And I have noticed that if it gets wet, the line doesn't spool fully to my expectation. I bought a spiderwire braided line stealth and it only has 150 yard. I need more than that. Or maybe I'm wrong about that?
