MJ, I have to go with Mike P's suggestion. It's what I carry and use plus it's so small and compact, you just shove it in your pocket and you don't even know it's there.
Notaro, I really don't know what a mr. big fish combo set is, or how much line it's rated for, but, you've got to remember that super braids such as Spiderwire Stealth are much smaller in diameter than Mono. That being said, I'm sure your reel could handle much more than 150 yrds of whatever test strength you're using. A spinning reel that is not filled properly cannot obtain the maximum potential distance because of the nature of how the line pays off the spool. There will be resistance against the top lip of your spool and the resistance is greater as the amount of line on the spool is diminished. You need to spool it completely to within at least 1/8" of the outer diameter of the lip. You should be using a Mono backing on the spool for filler, then tie your braid to the Mono to complete the spool filling process. You really only need 25 yrds or so of Mono backing. This will also prevent the braid from slippage and or cutting into your spool. Then buy your Stealth in the 300yrd package and fill it up.
I personnaly don't like braid on my spinning reels and I just use it on all my conventionals. I stay with Trilene Big Game Mono on the spinning equipment and get excellent distance with it. I know lots of people do use the braid on spinning gear so that's just my opinion. Take a look at your spooling techniques and hopefully this will help.
