SpeedTV pulls the same stunt with 24 Hours of Le Mans too. Makes me go nuts. It's a once a year event, I really don't understand the logic. I refuse to believe that what ever they broadcast during the break gets better ratings. Then again, you look at the empty stands at Rolex, it sure isn't NASCAR. It's not even ALMS.

I can stream very high quality video of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race on the computer when they stop broadcasting on SpeedTV but I can't save it to DVR like the rest of the race which I have to do since EVERY year the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Spring Surf Casting Challenge land on the same weekend.
