I remember seeing them in PVD or Boston, they opened for someone. Back in the early 70's things are kinda foggy. Always an entertaining mix of musicians in the Magic Band.

I see this is an older post, but didn't hear about the Cap't. I remember seeing the Mothers during the Bongo Fury tour at the old Capitol Theater in Passaic when Cap't was with them. They don't make music like that anymore.

I saw an article in Rolling Stones about his passing ... Bongo Fury was a great album he did with Frank ... Frank on Don aka Captain Beefheart ..
