Keep in mind that we didn't have a "January thaw" this season, so this could be a proverbial "pull-the-rug-out-from-under-your-feet" trick by mother nature. We could get socked by more snow and cold temps before spring actually arrives!

today fri

two inchs less ice today, top 1-2" is like slush. long plank to get to the good ice.and ice starting to look like a dull blue /gray going fast to bad prech fishing is good,got 8 nice big ones 12to14" to filit for supper.... mmmmmm deep fryed fresh water haddock.....
