Nils/Mtnbrz -- way to go is 3" bubble gum sluggo on a small worm hook -- I've been using Mr Twister Keeper Hooks (small barbed spike at eye to hold the front of the worm) . Use light line tied direct, no leader-- can make the difference. You won't need an egg cuz you'll be sitting on top of them
