Welcome!
I am on the north shore and currently working in Beverly. I have been finding a few accessible spots to hit from the shore along the Bass River. Notably inside the Kernwood Bridge on either side. Big flats and some structure you should check out at low tide. Flats are mussel beds and deep mud, so waders advised. You can walk along the Salem side by the golf course to the structures. Beverly side is decent at Obear Park. Both sides provide room for backcasts. Mornings have been good, even at low. Not much for size, but plenty of fun on a flyrod! Still getting the lay of the land there myself. Keeper size fish still outside the river from my experience. Lobstermen report lots of surface action in the channels outside and around Winter Island and the power plant around 5 am. Tides improving this week too. Email me for more on the Marblehead areas you might want to hit with your boat, or from surf. Pull out your chart kit and start marking structure areas. Fly shop on 1A in Beverly, just inside 128, is a great source too as far as flys, conditions, reports, etc. Let me know where you have been so far.
