Burndt my thumb pretty bad

Are we talking "grilled chicken wing, left too long on the grill" burnt, or "fried sausage that wasn't scored beforehand" burnt?
Or maybe it's a "splashed back of hand with hot grease" burnt?




As a teenager, I spilled boiling water across the back of my hand, and watched in awe and disbelief as the skin just washed away from the burn.
Then the trobbing pain set in....for the next 3 days!!!!!

No bone as of now but jeeezus the blister size is insane.Seeing bone might have been an overstatement at the time but wow is this painful.About the size of a quarter right on the ball of my left thumb.If I pop this blister I wouldn't be surprised if I saw something that might scare me...the ove-glove melted to my thumb.The pan was so hot it melted a hole in my linoleum kitchen floor to the subfloor.

No drugs tonight until I'm horizontal.The throbbing is insane.

I think I might pop the blister just to see how far/bad it is.Morbid curiosty is getting the best of me.

Btw trying to function without a usable thumb sucks.

they sell large spears (leaves) of ALOE VERA at the grocery store these days....

yeah, you practically have to buy a set of welders gloves
to handle black iron that's hot
