thanks everyone. slip i think it was as big as me. (well almost) it was caught on a jig. about 250ft of water.we got alot of fish in the teens. and about five in the 20s . she had a huge lobster claw in her belly. along with alot of herring. i gave it to my dad for farthers dad. he said that was the best thing i could have givin him.that made me happier then catching that fish. againthat was my best day cod fishin for big fish. now lets go find the 50lb

I was out that day too and we didn't mark fish anywhere from Graves to Scituate. Then again we weren't in 250 feet of water.
What a calm day huh?
