Probably not a good idea. That'll really convince Lamiglas that the rod was defective, and they're sure to give him a new one under warranty once they hear that he landed 27 fish over 40 and one over 50.

Plus the fact that the rods are already carrying someone else's name on them. I doubt they're going to re-name them in Mike's honor.
